So in less than a week, we will be "celebrating" the first anniversary of Mario Kart Tour. I plan on giving an elaborate review/retrospective on the game then, but for now, here's this drawing.
One of the few things I like about Mario Kart Tour is it introduced Pauline into the Mario Kart series. I'm hoping between that and Mario Tennis Aces that Pauline has become a staple of Mario spin-offs, much as Rosalina did in the 3DS/Wii U era. It's just a shame that this is her introduction into the series.
I thought it would be cute to draw Mario and Pauline in New York City from the game. It was the first course in the game and I honestly feel it was one of the best new tracks in the game. However, Pauline and Mario are noticing something very strange about the place. It's awfully similar to New Donk City, the city that Pauline governs. And since, as far as they can tell, New Donk City came first, they believe New York City to be a rip-off.
