Everyone gets returnees!After Oliver learned about running from the fanboys last year, now it's Donald & Douglas's turn.
I totally fanboy'd when I saw the Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure trailer. Who wouldn't? It's looks like the best movie yet!
The Scottish Twins are back... the Arlesdale Railway engines are brought to the TV series, thus bringing RWS engines in for the first time in 20 years (the last being the Skarloey Railway engine from Season 4) and it looks quite action-packed!
How can you not be hyped for this? The hype train (see what I did there?) is real, guys. So. Damn. Real.

Does anyone realize that the big things with the fans about characters coming back (at least, what I've seen) are the Little Western engines?
(Yes, I know Donald & Douglas aren't doing much on Duck's branch line, but originally that's what they primarily did.)

I'm alright if they're glad to have them back, I just don't want them to start giving every episode and special great rangs just because Donald and Douglas are in it, because they might end up suffering the same fate as Duck and Oliver (Being hated because of their fans)

I'm happy they fixed the positions of the nameplates - they never looked right on their boilers.
Hopefully they'll have enough screentime if they do appear in the final film.

I won't judge the special already or just because it'll have Donald and Douglas, but considering everything it's going to have, it has a lot of expectations to be met. But considering the last few specials, I'm confident Andrew Brenner and the new team will do it justice again. Oh yeah, and explosions. Who doesn't love a few good explosions?
Though I will join in the hype considering Donald and Douglas are some of my dearest old favorites.

With a much larger boiler than before by the looks of it.
Makes me wonder though with the 3 newcomers, returnees, and TV debuters, some of them are sadly gonna get small screentime. From the word go I'm betting that it's gonna be an introduction (and a larger opportunity toys wise) for the Arlesdale crew with them having proper screentime the following season. D&D are probably gonna be a "Millie/Timothy" here if you get my meaning.

There's one minor detail that I feel everyone's missing. Notice Donald's smokebox. Remember how the nameplates were on Donald and Douglas' boilers? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
