Vamp!Karai finishes her meal; despite the violent force she used to initiate the feeding, she manages to keep from doing Leonardo's neck any SEVERE damage. He IS alive and is understandably unenthused about being both the dinner table and the meal.--

Oh, I had to go back and start from the beginning..I so love how your turtles look.
But then I thought about something Karai said, she won't feed on human blood.
But why, does it change anything? She's torturing Leo, were are his brothers?
Why is he letting her do this, shouldn't he be fighting her and not letting her get away with this?

OH yes, I do love the questions! *rubs hands together* And I DO have answers. (I hope you have a little free time on your hands 'cause this'll get lengthy.)
I'll just start out by clarifying that Karai didn't become a vampire by choice (I suppose that'd describes 90% of characters who get turned into vamps). XD
Anyway, Vam Mi wanted an "army" at her disposal, and saw that Karai already had one. This led to her attacking Karai, thinking Ms. Oroku would make a great 2nd-in-command. But Karai rebelled and vowed to kill Vam Mi for turning her into a blood sucker.
At first, the Foot Clan members were scared of Vamp!Karai, but she vowed not to touch them and asked them to help her find and kill Vam Mi, because Karai had learned (from Vam Mi of all people) that if you can manage to kill the vampire that turned you, you will in fact go back to being human - BUT only under certain conditions.
1. If a vampire has drunk human blood, they can only go back to being human if they kill their "maker" within the first 36 hours (or, 2 nights and a day in between).
2. If a vampire can refrain from drinking human blood altogether then they have about 100-year time limit in which to kill their "maker" and go back to being human.
So, wanting to maintain the loyalty of her Clan members, Karai steadfastly refuses to drink human blood because doing so would not only be a dishonorable thing, but would also limit her options for regaining her humanity. Of course, this leaves Ms. Oroku with quite a dilemma, for a vampire that does not ingest blood soon weakens and eventually withers.
So, it is when Karai is both hungry and low on options that she decides to go after the turtles, hoping their mutant blood might meet all the requirements. Considering Leonardo is the one with whom she is most familiar makes Karai's choice easy.
Now, as for your second question: Leo's family knows he is a prisoner of the Foot, but, because Karai has been purposefully moving the Clan's base of operations every so many days, it has been difficult for them to find where he is being held. But just so you know, the youngest of Leo's siblings will be arriving on the scene within the next few pages. X3
Lastly, I'll say that if Leo could fight back or run away, he most assuredly would. But vampires are well-known for having the awful ability to tranquilize/paralyze their prey with their own special brand of hypnosis, and so too is it true for Karai. She has ensorcelled Leo, having reached down deep into his mind; she has suppressed his willpower, and made it nigh impossible for him to willingly escape from her. Although he has occasional outbursts of resistance (like on page 6), she really has made him quite helpless.
Karai will soon see the repercussions for having done this to Leonardo, and I do look forward to expressing her regret.

So are Leo and Karai in a relationship or is one to bloom during the course of this story?
Also, since you stated in the last chapter that the NY Foot clan members know of Leo being Karai's blood-bank. What about Splinter and the brothers?
It's been awhile since you've updated, so I had some doubts. Nice to see those doubts wrong. I'm having an absolute feast with the chemistry between Leo and Karai.

Hi! Thanks for the questions! Currently Leo and Karai are not in a relationship, but (as you said) an affinity might develop between them as the story progresses. (I'm a big LEORAI fan after all~! XD)
Also, Leo's family IS aware that the Foot are holding him prisoner; although, because Karai was disguised when she swooped down and attacked them (making off with Leo), it took them a little while to realize it. They've been searching for the Foot's base of operations since, but Karai keeps moving it, so it hasn't been easy for Splinter and the brothers to find where they've been keeping Leonardo.
But wow, a feast?? I don't think I've ever heard my portrayal of the characters described so 'deliciously?' XD (In-joke.)
