The laria was approached by a mare, she was draped in an Afghan and had some rather interesting ear piercings on one of her ears while the other had less piercings, he was unsure of what she wanted or why she was even here, it was unlike most ponies who encountered them, and this had him a bit afraid and on edge. He normally saw ponies who were infected with the cursed cousins of his species but she didn't have a baiomalaria's trademark laria tail in fact she wasn't even dead but despite that she gave off a sense of nurture and care, she could see his weariness about her just randomly coming up to him but she also noticed his muted coloration and sickly appearance she began to speak to him calmly and said she wanted to help him.

This was something he wasn't used to hearing since he had spent most of his life on his own and he thought he did well for himself but even he could sense this winter was going to be much harder than he's used too and despite gathering a good amount of supplies to get through a good portion of the winter months, unfortunately this time it was less than he would usually be able to find so that made him worry about how he was going to survive this winter. This mare could see he was taking in her offer, that was one of the things she deeply admired of his species they are just an intelligent as a pony not to mention they can speak just like ponies they were truly remarkable creatures.

She told him that she won't force him to come but she does state she runs a special shelter for laria's to go to when the seasons change, that made his ears perk up a bit since he had heard from others that had said they were at a special place to get shelter when the weather got colder, they said it was a warm and welcoming place the mare who ran it was nothing but comforting and kind to them almost like a mother like figure to them making sure they were warm and had everything they needed to make sure they were comfortable.

Many who were there had nothing but good things to say about it and he even heard the name "Rosewood" in those conversations about it, he asked the mare if she was the mare called Rosewood, she smiled and confirmed that she was indeed the same mare who those laria's had talked about. He was usually a stubborn kind of laria thinking he could make it on his own despite many saying that going there would be a better idea, meeting the mare who helped his kind in their most difficult time and given his current situation this wasn't the time to be bull headed or stubborn about it so he agreed to come.

When they got there, he saw a large barn like building with many trees, plants, and animals surrounding it, it had everything a laria could ask for to live comfortably and he was amazed by what he saw. Rosewood escorted him inside the building and to his surprise he saw many laria's inside with their seasonal colorations that he had, they were wrapped in what seemed to be a large quilt to make sure they were kept warm and even a patch of loose soil underneath them and they looked comfortable. It had similarity to a stable, but it did radiate a welcoming and warm atmosphere.

She brought him to an open space, when he buried his legs into the soil it was some of the richest and softest soil he had ever felt, she then brought out a large quilt and draped it over him, making the shudders he was having slowly cease it was the warmest he felt since autumn started, she rubbed her hoof on the blanket in a comforting way and told him that he's in good hooves here. She left him to rest since he looked like he needed some rest and when she left, he dropped off to sleep finally finding warmth in an unexpected but welcomed way.
