Map idea for my tlk verse
I'll go into further detail in separate images of each pride

1. Tri Grass Empire:
Originally one large empire but when the emperor died he made his three sons split up the land. Each being greedy and power hungry fought with each other. The war lasted three gens when the wife of one ruler proposed a truce and alliance. The three joined back together, although separate, to fight against the growing pride surrounding them

2. Drylands:
Much like the name implies, the land there is dry and hot. The inhabitants however are thriving and growing, their manes are thin and allow them to easily cool down and their barbaric, cruel nature makes it easy for them to conquer more land. Their next target is the tri grass empire but getting through their defences is being proven difficult

3. Hidden Kingdom:
Although growing to the size of an empire they still call themselves a kingdom. The hidden Kingdom is a mysterious pride where their kind is rumoured to be magical beings capable of turning into shadows and plants to blend into their jungle landscape.

4. Free Jungle:
Here many lions roam free and form small familial prides or as a quick restock and resting area for nomadic prides.

5. Pridelands
A newish pride with an already impressive population and land. They've formed alliances with both empires south of them.

6. Golden Empire:
The ever ruling empire. The Golden empire once ruled most of Southern Africa in the past however from the east sprung a pride with pelts as pale as snow and the clouds. They fought valiantly and won half of the Golden Empire's land. Ever since they've been at war

7. Pale Empire
Cubs with white or near white pelts were often rejected by their parents, seen as an omen of evil and illness, thus those who survived came together and fought for their own land. Despite their victories they were still seen as weak and evil, so in spite they attacked one of the biggest empires and direct descendent of those who put the idea that white=bad.

8. King's Land
King's Land is the mother pride. There all great prides descend from, the most famous being the Golden Pride. There lions who seek wisdom and power travel to and learn to be great rulers however the desert that separates them from the others is treacherous.

12. Purple Area.
This area is where small prides are, mostly with no status or recognition. Nomads and "illegal" prides are.
