Description
Based off Japanese rose patterns for kimono. I used a stock image of this particular rose pattern as a reference seeing as I do not draw flowers that often, let alone like this (the purple flowers are based off a different pattern). This drawing is a digital version of a traditional piece I am working on, WIP time-lapse videos of which you can find on my new Instagram account.

thank you! Roses are definitely my favourite flower, and Iβm rather pleased with how this turned out. Flowers really are tricky to draw, hence why I used a stock photo of this rose pattern as a reference, but I enjoy drawing them when I do
back when I did art in school, drawing a still-life flower was easily my favourite lesson.

It all comes down to stylising - sometimes Iβll use a reference but slightly adjust it in the final pose to suit my style. Practice makes perfect
And you are very welcome! I hope you had a wonderful day.
