His tutorials don't cost that much money. You wouldn't ask a doctor or a teacher to work for free.

That wouldn't be fair for neither Ross or his patreons. He works hard to make helpful tutorials and videos, he can't just do all the effort for free. And his patreons are paying for those tutorials, what would be the point if non-patreons can get them for free anyway?
If you dont want to pay, there are hundreds, millions of variated tutorials for free in youtube and deviantart, too.
