SO. I saw Star Trek XI. And it has become my new ABSOLUTE OBSESSION. LOL.AND. SPOCK/UHURA. I SHIP IT SO HARD. I've been reading soooooo much fan fiction lately. It's great! Honestly, I don't think I've felt this much fandomish love for something since I discovered fandom for the first time!! LOL.
So my love for XI made me go and actually watch Star Trek TOS for the first time...
In regards to Star Trek TOS:
In the beginning, "NA NA NA NOT LISTENING TO TOS BUT I LURRRRRRRRRRVE XI" BUT THEN I GOT OUT THE FIRST SEASON, AND NOW I'M ON THE THIRD AND ASDF;LJDAL;JSDA;LKJFDA LDF;LK IT'S ALL SO AWESOME AND WHY DID I WASTE SO MANY YEARS NOT BEING A TOS TREKKIE?!?!?!?! LOLOLOL.
Leonard Nimoy is SHAMEFULLY attractive, despite looking old. I kinda wanna just rip off his shirt all the time
AND LOL. The only thing I'd ever REALLY seen Shatner in was Boston Legal, and it took AT LEAST half a season of TOS before I saw ANY RESEMBLANCE to the man captaining The Enterprise, LOL.
MOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

LOL. I started drawing this in my Professional Experience lecture at Uni (WHAT ELSE ARE THEY FOR, I MEAN, REALLY?!) and it just kinda... grew... LOL. No comment on where Uhura's other hand is

!!! Did you know that Zachary Quinto narrates the audio version of the movie adaptation of the new Star Trek movie? I ordered it a few weeks ago, it's so awesome. I let Zachary read me to sleep, how cool is that!?! He's really great at doing all of the voices of all of the diverse characters.
And, anyway, also have to say, I love this pic!

I knew absolutely nothing about Star Trek expect that the captain's name was Kirk and the other guy was Spock (Star Wars fan here!) but I really loved the movie! And this shipping was a lot of fun. I'm glad that I can come back to this picture a second time now that it makes sense!

I was afraid at first, because I didn't believe all the "sexy Spock" rumors I'd been hearing since it was Sylar, and he's creepy. But then I saw the movie asd was like 
And then the kiss BLEW MY MIND! It was so hot! They'd better win MTV's Best Kiss award!

And of course her hand is on his tush! I mean, if I were within ass-grabbing range of Zach Quinto, I know I would. Then I would run really fast before the cops could get me. But I'm out of shape so it wouldn't be that far, and I'd get sued for sexual harassment, but it would be worth it.
The point of the story is, this drawing is really cute and I love it.

That is so adorable! I'm so glad Spock got some love (although I'm insanely jealous of Uhura sometimes). Anyway, I love this! I love thier expression! Spock actually looks a little, dare I say it, happy. Or at the very least, contented.
