Okay, so beat me with sticks. I love this. LOVE THIS. I've seen the movie twice already, and plan to see it at least twice more before it leaves theaters. And of course, being a fan of Spock and his lovely Vulcan ways, I adore this pairing. Such a shock, but it works for me.Had to draw it. Ended up doing a sort of art nouveau feel with the design of it.

Nice! I really enjoyed this addition to the ST genre, and I like how you choose to protray it. It's subtle and yet open on what exactly the relationship is between the two, i.e. how close are they really.

Oh, this is so good! For a stylised piece, wow, you can really see the actors in the faces. I love the really elegant, clean lines here. It really gives it a striking look.
And the half-smile on Spock's face is JUST like the little one he gives in that scene the hangar before he turns around in the movie which I really like, haha.

Yeah, I didn't ship anyone during TOS, for much the same reason. I only knew that I thought Spock was totally awesome and wanted to be his Best (Girl)Friend Forever. It wasn't until this movie really that I explored the possibility of Spock being a love-interest (except in my own deluded childhood fantasies). XD
This movie DEFINITELY made me giddy with glee.

I have yet to see the movie but I wholeheartedly support this pairing (despite the shock-factor). From what everyone's been saying, I have a feeling that I'll be supporting the entire film!

A much needed update:
I have seen the movie and holy WOW did I love it! So many great references indeed. I was literally bouncing up and down in my seat and grinning like a mad woman from time to time. I absolutely will be seeing this again... and possibly again after that lol.
And, I must say as lifelong Spock fan myself, I am utterly drawn to this pairing. The actors did such an amazing job with it..!

I so prefer Spock to Kirk and I also heard the legendery inter-racial kiss was written as Spock/Uhura but Shatner complained. (Thank you "Bring Back Star Trek")
