Description
Maws are a boss class salmonid in splatoon2's salmon run. to defeat a maws you can shoot at it but it can tank alot of abuse, however you can feed it a splat bomb and it kills it instantly.
(also maws also hide in their green ink-like slime to ambush the inklings, you can tell where hiding maws are because they have their fishing bobbers floating in their ink-slime pool)

though maws seem like a huge problem when i play salmon run as many of my teamates tend to ignore them an then the game spawns 5 more (and the game can and will spawn multiple salmonid bosses at will including multiple maws)
