Description Alright, the information is in the tutorial ;D.

While my last one had all the correct information, I've added more to this one to make it more complete. I'll be uploading a second tutorial shortly, as well, for Butterfly or Fae wings on equine characters.

Mostly because I'm still tired of seeing people not get it right. XD.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD FOR FULL VIEW!

In short-

Four short, easy-to-follow lessons on the pegasi skeletal system, gaits in flight, wing connections and wing-to-horse ratio. Illustrated.

copyright info on image, if you manage to steal it without anyone noticing, I'll still find you and pummel you into a million pieces before feeding you to rabid monkeys.

Other than that, please, PLEASE feel free to reference this!

THANK YOU
finally someone who shows how itΒ΄s done! This is a very good tutorial, and accurately realistic too, Love it!

Have you by chance seen Clash of the titans (2010 remake) the pegasi was very well done there imo, a large friesian stallion with HUGE wings, and, they also folded realisticly You canΒ΄t believe how hard it was finding a good tutorial for the folded pegasi wing

I did see that His wings were incredibly realistic and believable.

And thank you! It means a lot to hear feedback

Very insightful. I'm working on a drawing/photomanipulation myself, and it so happens that the horse in it is turning out to be a Pegasus - NOT my original intent. This will help out in getting the proportions accurate. Thank you for sharing!

Hey, thanks for this tutorial! I love how it discusses more than just the aesthetic aspects of a Pegasus. Kudos to you! Especially the part on gaiting as well as the different types of wings -- those are extremely useful tips! CC:

(I notice a small typo, though! > < "Geography" is not the appropriate term to use for "Lesson 3: The Mathematics of it All"...! I suggest simply "calculations", since it does not deal directly with geometry (perhaps the term you meant to use?) or even distinct algebra... Of course, unless it is meant to be interpreted as the geographical range of each breed, which in turn causes different body structures -- in that case, a little elaboration would be good XD)

xD I had meant geometry which makes way more sense in context. but after I saved it and trashed the layers I sort of said screw it they can figure it out! -really hates making tutorials but hates crappy wings more- But no problem its been nice to see my tutorials used to create anatomically correct art for the past few years so it totally makes up for it ^_^
