I'm a recent Texas-transplant... I think the images of Texas are becoming burned in my mind. Gotta be a curse, or something! Texans are suuuure proud of their state!! heehee
I'm so, so, so glad I wasn't the only one who thought that was shaped an awful lot like Texas, so I don't feel as crazy!

Very cool! I especially like the way you've positioned the fastener. It's not only practical from a wearable point of view but it also adds to the look of the piece, making the fastener part of the focal.
