I've finally drawn Tawala the way I think she really looks similar to how I imagine her (I bet in only a few days I'm gonna see all the mistakes on that picture which I don't notice yet, haha ). I find it quite hard to draw her, which is a problem, because she's one of the main characters of a comic I'm drawing xD.

Let's just quickly say some things about her; she's a matriarch of her clan. She's had a sister. But she killed her when they were young (you know, hyenas use to do that when there's not enough food - and Tawala and her sister were the same age and only one of them could inherit the title of matriarch after their mother). Tawala spent whole her childhood being taught how to fight and how to lead and take care of her clan. And so, as she says, she practically didn't have any childhood. She blames her parents (especially mother) for it. There were times she wished she didn't have to do all this because preparing to be a ruler took away her freedom. She had so many duties and she mostly couldn't do what she really wanted. When she was a cub, she hated all the things her parents wanted her to be. But then, when she was 17, her mother died and she had to take her place. In that moment she realised it's time to be who the clan needs her to be and she started to take her duties seriously (like, yeah, in fact she's got two sides - the first one is the serious one, and the second one is the one who gives priority to, for example, have a bath and chill and forget all the problems around ya; but still, the first side wasn't there before). Now she's 37 and... um, well, what else to say? She's grown up into a strong stubborn bossy and still a bit irresponsible hyena female.
