Hahaha yes, a vertical one! xD I'm trying to do a lot of these lately (and square), forcing myself out of my comfort zone.
Yeah the wave was most of the work here, had to desaturate and repaint color from scratch cause I used so many different photos...

Yeah that's always something difficult to change the shape of your workplan, it matters alot in the size of the subjects and the composition of the global piece.

Agreed very much, the composition is a whole different world when you change the framing. I'm so used to horizontal that it comes out naturally, but with this I need to force myself to new ways and I feel like I'm learning a lot too.

Im interested to the work to create the detail relative to the trail created by the suitcase. In this case using the trail created by the sea lion. very creative use of stock!
