I read The Lost Hero, the next book in the Percy Jackson series (Or I guess this series will be Jason Graces) And I really do love Greek Mythology. Hades and Persephone's story is one of my favorites.I tried going for a more painted look. I dont know if I succeeded or not. :/ I also went Texture happy : )
The story of Hades and Persephone is an abduction story. Hades, God of the Underworld, fell in love with the Spring Goddess, Persephone. He took her down to the underworld, and her mother, Demeter flew into a frenzy, killing all the crops on Earth. Hades spoiled Persephone in vast riches so she would love him in return. But Persephone missed the sunshine and her mother. But after a while in the underworld, she began to fall for the Dark King and became accustomed to being a Queen. When Hermes came to collect her because Zeus demanded her back to her mother, Persephone swallowed 6 Pomegranate seeds. This allowed her to spend 6 months on Earth with her mother and 6 months in the underworld with her husband.
More or less that's one of the versions of the story : )

Exactly! Apparently it happened back in 2000. Not a single person I've told knew this. The ocea around Antarctica is now know as the Southern Ocean.

That's what I said. Persephone is still the Goddess of Spring though. And when Persephone is gone Demeter goes into a depression and makes the earth suffer.
Fun stuff.
I was trying to do something different with the lines, but if there wasnt lines like on the face, it made the kiss look weird. IDK o - o
