Description
First of my Kodama series, "Follow the Leader."I started drawing this in my Illustration Studio I art class. I loved it so much, I just kept drawing. I love Hayou Miyazaki and his films. He is a visionary filmaker.
I adore the Kodamas from The Legend of Ashitaka (the original name for "Princess Mononoke"). And they're so cute and fun to draw!
Drawn in straight pen and ink, with no prior sketching.

Aww how cute! I love the Kodamas! I remember my uncle's girlfriend telling me about Princess Mononoke about like three years ago, she then sent me 2 DVDs from America when she went back there, one of them was "Spirited Away" and the other was "Princess Mononoke" I immediately watched both on the same day and I loved them. Though my favourite was Princess Mononoke, that film is awesome!

Cute isn't the first word that comes to mind for me.... more like.... RUN!!! or something along those lines. Those things scare me... and if I saw them in real life; I would go ballistic.

*throws hands in the air* Yay for Mononoke-hime! Won environmentalist awards, too, like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (awesome movie).
This is prolly the one Japanese to American anime that the voice actors didn't totally suck in. Heck, Moro's English voice was an IMPROVEMENT. *gasp* BLASPHEMY!!!
