Description
Note: this is a standalone, one-page comic. I will NOT be continuing this.

I absolutely loved Frozen. I kept thinking through the second half of the movie, how awesome would it be to see these two characters interact? No doubt there are already fanfictions/fanarts about this, so here's mine adding to the bunch. Too bad it can never really happen since DreamWorks and Disney don't get along.
I imagine Jack inviting her to go have some fun with him. She would react, "Fun? ... My sister used to say that."
In between work and other projects, this took me about ... 4-5 hours? Hand drawn and inked, scanned and colored in PS.

I'm glad that you did, why can't all the other fan work of Jack and Elsa be like yours and this one with Jack in his old outfit? I get really pissed on the inside whenever I see this sacrilege of historical inaccuracy.

"He'd die for me. He proved this the night I sent Anna away with Kristoff and never looked back. He told me that I should reconsider my options, that I was being a fool, so I slapped him - to think twice about raising his voice before a queen. He came back that night, offering his apology when it was me who should have set things right.
I nearly killed him after I released all of the hatred within my veins. It wasn't hatred towards him, but towards the being who gave me the ability to summon ice at will in the first place. Now Jack's helping me realize that I can control these powers after all. He's been a blessing and I think I am in love with him; I think I am anyway. I'll treat him better. This time I have a way of making things right." - Elsa's Perspective by LilMissPeppy

Oh, god, this reminds me both of Aladdin showing up on Jasmine's balcony AND of the way I had them meet in my fic, except in my version of it, his landing wasn't quite as graceful, it was really more of a crash-landing. XD

I absolutely love this.
The shipping of Jack and Elsa has really taken off since Frozen, but I must say that I don't support it at all. They just look too similar for comfort. I think it makes way more sense for Anna and Elsa to be his children. Have you heard about Frozen Tangled Guardians? It's the headcanon that Anna and Elsa are the children of Rapunzel (from Tangled) and Jack and I support that with all my being.

Awesome!!! It is too bad that DreamWorks and Disney don't get along. Because this scene would be possible since in the Art of Frozen book I got it says that Frozen took place in 1840s.

RoxyRoo In reply to BlueProwl [2013-12-14 18:39:25 +0000 UTC]
1840's? Wow. Then it totally makes sense. lol
👍: 0 ⏩: 2
BlueProwl In reply to RoxyRoo [2013-12-15 07:35:52 +0000 UTC]
yep. According to the Art of Frozen book, the early costume designs place the story in the late 1700s. For a more classical fairy tale look, it was decided to place the narrative in the 1840s. So even if it had still taken place in the 1700s that would have matched for Jack too. Since that is when Jack was lived and died.

Iscreamer1 In reply to BlueProwl [2013-12-16 05:06:51 +0000 UTC]
Which is why having Jack and his old outfit in this artwork is more sensible.
