Ever wonder what Master Cheif looks like under that helmet? Other artists did. These are the various fanarts I've come across of different artist's renditions of the Chief. I'm sure there's more fan art out there, but I just compiled them all I could find for comparison... and I found something.

Everyone seems to imagine the same man. The same basic face.

1) Brown, short, often flipped up hair.
2) Serious eyes, as described in the books
3) A strong face, but not too angular.
4) Scars
5) Firm lips.
6) They all have the same nose! O_o
7) Scruff/stubble on has jaw.

The books give some description, from which I'm sure these artists were aware of. Handsome man standing at attention. “He’s so serious,” Cortana murmured. “Thoughtful eyes though. Attractive in a primitive, animal sort of way, don’t you think, Doctor?” - Cortana to Dr. Halsey in Halo: The Fall of Reach

Wikipedia: During a briefing scene in Halo: The Flood, the Chief is described as tall with short hair, serious eyes, and strong features. His skin is "too white", a consequence of spending most of his time in his armor.[14] The Master Chief stands about seven feet (2.13 m) tall and weighs 1,000 pounds (450 kg) in armor;[16] without it, he stands six feet, seven inches (2 m) tall and weighs 287 pounds (130 kg).

Seriously. Has anyone else noticed this? We may never see the Chief's face in the actual games, and I pray we never do. But I don't think we have to. We all imagine the same man.
