I map I drew for the first issue (#21 on the cover) of the Prophet comic that I'm writing.It'll be out soon after new years.

...just wanted to drop you a line & let you know how much i enjoy this book, your blog - (the Nat'l Geographic/Moebius post was awesome - so was the Zooniverse backup mini-tutorial), etc. - i left the medium behind for quite a number of years, until returning to gradschool for traditional animation recently, so i am most grateful to you for restoring my faith in comics here in the states & giving me something to look forward to on the racks that always leaves me inspired... cheers...!

Did you actually create an alphabet for Prophet or is it just made-up? Either way it's incredibly believable and very intricate. Also my fave part of this is the two little backpack dudes at the bottom for some reason, hahaha

It's just made up nonsense, but thanks. The backpack dudes were fun-- I just redrew guys that Simon Roy had already drawn in the issue.

I just need to ask... How on earth did you manage to find yourself making a Prophet comic? That being said, I will absolutely be purchasing this.

A big part of it was how cool Image has been to work with in getting King city together and then being able to rework Prophet it with total freedom (playing it as sci fi and not superhero) and with artists that I pick.
It took a minute for me to warm up to but it's been really fun. I hope you like it.
