World of Explorers is a part construction and management, part rogue-like, indie video game made by Philip Zonday and Yuki Rex, it is set in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe. It was praised by its complex and emergent gameplay.

Gameplay:

Players can choose their setting's theme from Fantasy Epic, Modern and Futuristic

Dynasty Mode: They get start off with 6 workers with a goal to establish a successful kingdom/city and defend against threats like invasions, wealth and taking care of their Pokemon. Each Pokemon has an individual personality, likes or dislikes and owns specific skills in various labors and combat.

Explorer Mode: This basically plays out like PMD but more open-ended were the explorer and his/her guild are free to explore, do quest or investigate and visit old kingdoms and cities, even barren planets (only if the futuristic theme is selected).

The environment's style depends on the chosen theme.

The game has an anatomical detail of its combat system and the injuries of the Pokemon

January 2020 Update: You can now mix themes. But you can only choose 2.
