Nope. Kara was unthawed in 2000, many years before Clark and Lois were married. As Jonathan Kent had just passed away, Martha needed some company and help on the farm so she took a preteen Kara in.

She was only adopted by them on Earth-2 because she was a teenager and they had been together for years. On Earth-27, she's almost 30 years old and Clarks only 40ish. And I'm pretty sure Kara arrived before Lois and Clark got married. So they're more like brother and sister if anything

I think most families try and discuss how many kids they want, if they want any at all. It also depends on your definition a lot. My a lot is 5 or more but others could be higher or lower.
