Good lord I love the Creature Commandos, they're like DC Comics response to Dark Horse's BPRD and Hellboy which is another thing Iove, I think Marvel has their 'Howling Commandos' too but this is amazing and perfect for Spooktober

DC's response to BPRD? Creature Commandos predate Hellboy by thirteen years. Marvel's Monsterized version of the Howling Commandos came much later, too.

Wow.... The more I know, and knowing I'd half the battle... Creature Commandos. I wonder if they fight Occult neo nazis or threats like that or Trigon or swamp thing? (the later is probably more like a misunderstanding leading to a fight)

There's some neat references in here;
- Bixby is a villain called Roadrunner who fought Batman.
- Edgar's the ex-husband of Charlotte West (one of Iris' siblings).
- Rachel is a Wildstorm character from the Wetworks comics named Mother-One.
- Jack is another Wildstorm character named CyberJack.
It's always fun to look into all the minor characters that get referenced in these files, especially for someone like me, who loves learning about lesser-known/forgotten comic characters.
