Holy cow! This was a difficult one to write! I realize that Roy has had such a roller coaster life, that just to fit his story into the narrative of Earth-27, I'm going to need to get him a Speedy... and maybe a Red Arrow entry as well.
Anyway, for now, here's the basics. There's sooo much more I wanted to add to this. I feel like this is the cliff notes version of what I had written down for the story of Earth-27's Roy Harper. I didn't even get to squeeze in my Outlaws reference.

One itty bitty question on this file, what exactly what did Jason do to get Roy to forgive him for Skywalkering him? Because seriously, Roy must be a saint for forgiving the man (that or REALLY love that replacement arm which I assume Jason paid cyborg for)

Jason was dead. Roy brought him back from the dead. Roy would have given more than his arm to have his best friend back. He considered it a fair trade... but he also gives Jason tons of shit for it.

Don't judge me, she was cool. I mean she was Roy's one thing to stay on a straight path, and she was like the Franklin Richards and Cassandra Lang of DC she grew up meeting lot's of DC's heroes. And Jade was somewhat good around her. And yes I compared her to those kids of Marvel to her.

Combining this information with what made it to the cutting room floor I see Roy is something of a hot mess, but maybe that's why we like him. He's not the ideal role model for super heroics but in many respects he's a good guy trying to do right. Really I admire that he's able to be a loving and supportive dad and that Vox chat made me laugh so hard, damn Roy you know how to pick them.

It was a character with a lot of potential killed in a completely bullshit way in a comic that was full of bullshit character mutilation that led to some of the worst characterization of Roy Harper. Lian's alive --> Roy's still a decent character.

Always wondered why after the reveal of Mia Saunders and the budding relationship between Roy and Kendra they never got Lian and Mia in the same room... Do you have any plans for bringing in Traya Sutton or Sin?
