I love that you're writing Cass as an individual with aspirations, a past and a place in the world. That is disturbingly rare for this character.

While I'm still not convinced Cass would have a middle name, I do like that you chose her aunt's. Do you imagine that was something she chose for herself? I also like that you made it her choice to pass on her mantle rather than something Bruce ordered her to do - I was never a fan of that particular writing decision. Otherwise, just another excellent bio and I'm definitely curious to see more.

I imagine when she was adopted by Bruce, she had free reign to choose her own name. I also kept her name as Cain as I felt that she would want to have kept that to remind her of where she came from and how she overcame that part of herself.

Excellent, I definitely approve (for what little that matters). I can't see either Cain or Shiva giving her a middle name but having her choose her aunt's name seems to fit perfectly. I also agree that she would keep calling herself Cain, although that's partly because I subscribe to the idea that she still (despite herself) loves her father. She just hates what he does and has done, but then family is massively complicated even when Cass' particular issues aren't brought into the mix.

Aye, it can be hard to let go of family... Look at Bruce Wayne himself. Thirty-five years have done little to help him let go of his own parents. Cassandra loves her father, but that doesn't mean she has to like him.

Hacked GCPD databases, chats with informants, windows for online shopping, trolling Riddler's Facebook page, and of course Minesweeper

Chat logs with informants and seeing what she's shopping for could be a nice change of pace. Minesweeper is about as fun and frustrating as Sudoku, could definitely see her playing that.
Info about Cassandra was interesting, nice alliteration with her name. Like how you used multiracial as opposed to mixed. Didn't know she was so petite.
