Personally, I loathe Smallville (the show). But, it's your DCU. Personally, I think the animated Luthor portrayals (Clancy Brown's especially) trump the LA portrayals across the board.
Is the "I can still be Oracle in Canada?" a reference to the current elections? Because I've heard people crack similar jokes in reference to a certain someone.

I have a love/hate relationship with Smallville. The first three seasons or so are amazing, IMO (though I should rewatch them and see if I still feel that way now). After Clark becomes a football star and spends more time in Metropolis than Smallville (and Lex left the show), I really grew to hate it.
I am drawing some allusions between Luthor and Trump.

Amen. Though, I will say that Serinda Swan sure did do the classic Zatanna costume justice. Shame she didn't wear it more.
And yes, I caught on to that myself. I guess this means there will also be much discussion on Amanda Waller's emails and Oliver Queen running on a socialist platform or somesuch.

Yes, for the characters who have both a hero/villain identity and a civilian identity. Luthor doesn't have a supervillain name though. He's just Lex Luthor. It's actually not a big deal to me, I just would love to see Phil's take on the Warsuit is all.

Not necessarily every week as the show would reflect, but I am comfortable with their being some meteor infected freaks in Clark's youth.

It's LuthorCorp instead of LexCorp simply because I think the name "LexCorp" is silly. Not many people name their Fortune 500 Companies after their first name.

Well, Lex loves building a cult of personality. So even though most people prefer to name a company for their last name, he made an exception. That's why a lot of his technology has the name "Lex" in it when it might be smaller to build up other brands. He loves having his face/name plastered everywhere he can. It works either way, but I always found LexCorp rolls off the tongue better.
