Description ugh, it's so dark. This is still compressing, and there's nothing I can do about it I guess. It's a PNG but I think they even compress it more to get it on the site. Another matte I did, wanted to go a king kong-esuqe look. Still a WIP but C&C's always welcome! But it looks better I swear!

I'm left breathless from this work. Everything about it is so masterful, there's no beginning or end to describing how beautiful, detailed, and unbelievably astounding it is! Please tell me, though, that not all of this was done by hand? It looks like the majority of the trees are photos pieced in (though you can't tell they were pieced in, except for the ones in the very foreground), but I really wouldn't put it past you if you had done them with the aid of a tree brush and the time and patience to perfect them.
The only true way to completely admire this work is in full view (which is gigantic!), and it gives the opportunity to notice fine details, like the illusion of the skulls in the pillars guarding the temple, which is an excellent touch and sets an eerie, mysterious mood.
The use of fog is wonderful here. It adds a more extreme sense of depth than would without it, adding to the ominous, intimidating air of the scene.
I could drone on forever, but I have to end sometime >< All in all, this is one of the most beautiful landscape works I've ever seen!

I want to give you the biggest hug ever. Yeah, it's mostly photo manip and digital paint. The gate was done in Maya but painted over. Again, your response is hugely appreciated.
