Because me 'n my pals think Exo-Force better fits the MIR style than Elves.Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna binge watch LEGO Elves for sure, IN FACT IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE THAT MIR TEAMED UP WITH LEGO TO DO SOMETHING; it's just that wouldn't it be cool if Exo-Force was rebooted and packaged with an anime to go with it? So I tried my best to implement the style into Exo-Force - I'm really proud of how Takeshi turned out, he sees the most legit out of everyone else. Anyways, trying to catch up on uploading stuff here. You guys have a nice day!

I recently downloaded some Lego building software, and I want to make some Western-style American Exos with fuckloads of armor, guns, and general badassery. This series, and Dino Attack, were hands-down my 2 favorite Lego series ever.

Exo-Force was one of the greatest franchises that LEGO ever came up with! The sad thing is that it wasn’t the most popular in its time, what with other franchises like Mars Mission, Aqua Raiders and Indiana Jones being released around the same time or at the end of its life. It’s sad because it was a HUGE step for LEGO to make, bridging the gap between a hugely popular toy franchise and typical Japanese anime. I think that they could have gone for a long time if it had been introduced to the world maybe a year or two later. Sure we would have missed out on the joy that was Exo-Force, but perhaps it would have gotten more notice, more accolades, and more fans. I think that they could have possibly even been the original “Ninjago”, having a show and everything! Your art just makes me feel so nostalgic! I want to see a show of Exo-Force, in whatever form I can get but preferably in an anime sort of style. That would be epic!!!!! Hikaru has always been my favorite, and I love how you portrayed him in this! If I had not known what this was originally, I would have totally not been able to choose a favorite! Great work!!!!! Thumbs up!

What is MIR? Is it the studio that did Avatar and the new Voltron? Because that's what this style looks like to me. (Do you like either of those shows, by the way?)
This reminds me of a conversation I had with my brother, we agreed that if LEGO made an Exo-Force reboot or other anime-influenced thing mini-dolls would suit it better than minifigs. I just wish the mini-dolls had a bit more poseability...

Yup, Studio MIR is the animation studio that worked on the Legend of Korra and Voltron. (I'm pretty sure they did ATLA, but I'm not sure. AND HECK YEAH I LOVE THESE SHOWS, especially Avatar!)

THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER TIRE OF LOOKING AT THIS. Hayato's Lance face is too perfect for words, and Hikaru's hair is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Takeshi is gorgeous as well, and of course Ryo/Hunk is perfection.
Dude it's amazing that Lego teamed up with MIR, and it's a crying shame that they couldn't partner up with an animation studio of this caliber for Exo-Force....
