I decided that, what the heck, I'd have a little fun redesigning the ninja's season 1 gear. You can probably make your own analysis' from looking at their uniforms, so I won't go into the nitty gritty detail. BUT, I do want to talk about a rumor (A rumor that I'm late to responding to): The possible voice cast for the Ninjago 2017 movie. I know a few people freaked out over the choices for the voice cast, so I want to try and give a more calm response to this """"leak"""". Lloyd voiced by Dave Franco: Okay, I'm 100% not upset over this, I've wanted Lloyd to have deeper voice since he was aged up. So I'm totally on board with Dave Franco voicing Lloyd. And you know what, Dave's voice kinda fits Lloyd in my opinion. He has that raspy, teen-boy tone, and pulls off a young character quite well.

Kai voiced by Michael Peña: At first, I was pretty confused by this choice. This guy, Michael, looked like he would convey a whiney, fast-talking tone. But, I listened to one of Michael Peña's interviews, and I was surprised to hear a voice that could pull off Kai! I think Michael could sound like a raspy teenager if he can hide the age in his voice.

Nya voiced by Abbi Jacobson: I'm a little worried about this one. From what I've heard, Abbi Jacobson sounds like a typical girl that's a bit of a tomboy, but also quirky. Kelly Metzger, Nya's tv voice actress, actually sounds more unique with her performance; like it's high pitched, but also manages to keep a bit of charm. I'll have to wait and see what Abbi can do, but for now I'm not too happy about this choice.

Jay voiced by Kumali Nanjiani: 'Kay, so, I have no idea who Kumali Nanjiani is. But hearing him... that's an okay choice for Jay. He does have a slight accent in his voice, but he does carry the whiny, shouty tone that Jay's known for. I'm not sure if Kulami's gonna try to hide his accent, but I think he's a good choice for Jay.

Zane voiced by Zach Woods: I'm guessing that Zach Woods is gonna use a similar performance from his time on The Office in order to voice Zane. That being said, I'm kinda on the railings with this one. While Zach has perfected that drone tone that rarely takes anything metaphorically, Zane has a bit more of a softer and kinder tone in the show. Zach seems to be more on the blank/deep side with his voice. Like with Nya, I'll have to wait and see what Zach will do with Zane.

Cole voiced by Fred Armisen: Okay, I'm impartial towards Fred Armisen as Cole. Fred has a completely opposite tone from Kirby Morrow's tone. Kirby gave Cole a very raspy and determined kind of voice. From what I've seen, Fred has a very high and nasally voice. I'm not sure what the thinking on this choice was, but it seems very far fetched and I'm not sure what they're really planning for Cole with this voice. But maybe I'm just looking at Fred's normal voice and not what he could do, cause it seems like this guy is also known for impersonations.

And last, but not least, Wu voiced by Jackie Chan: WHAAAAAAT?! I AM ACTUALLY REALLY INTRIGUED BY THIS CHOICE! Jackie Chan is literally a part of my childhood and I love his quirky/actiony personality. However, I'm keeping my expectations in the middle about his take on Wu, it could be good or it could be bad.

Okay, there you have it, my thoughts on the voice cast. Overall, I'm not freaking out about this, I know that some things must change for a movie, so I won't cry about the tv voice actors not getting the parts. I'm pretty sure this movie is gonna end up being a reboot, so a new voice cast does make sense. I will wait and see what happens, and I can just hope for the best.
