I've seen so many people do their takes on personifying the planets as people, so I'm doing my take. In fact, I actually took it one step further and developed a story idea for them. Basically, our Solar System is a galactic team that fly around the stars, helping those in need and completing missions. I didn't draw her in here, but their all around leader is the sun. XD Alright, from left to right, here are the planets:

Mercury: Once a messenger of the stars, now pilot for a team of plants in his solar system. He's quite wise-cracking and fluid, but don't get on his bad side - his temper is horrid when provoked.

Venus: The hot head of the team, but a most skilled warrior. She's also the unwilling chaperone of Earth, keeping an eye on him at all times. Don't make her mad either, she's even worse than Mercury and Mars combined.

Earth: A carefree and lovable should, Earth tries to make the most out of a good situation. His heart is in the right place, but sometimes it can lead to trouble - BIG trouble. He also loves calling Venus his sister... and making jokes about Uranus' name...

Mars: The leader of this group, strong, stubborn, and war-hardy. His team is always willing to follow him, but there are times where they question his methods. He can be a bit *cough*military bravo team go send in the troops*cough*.

Jupiter: A very soft and kind member of the group. His giant stature always intimidates his enemies, but also cuddly to his friends. But, he is actually quite thick in the head, and needs a few of the "smart words" dumbed down to his understanding.

Saturn: She is the fashion-savy of the group, knowing what fits in with style and what trends to follow. However, she is a valuable member of the team because she has *whispers*connections*whispers*. But she also has a decent IQ and agility skill.

Uranus: The coward of the group. This poor guy is almost scared of everything, and his team teases him for this. This can always trigger a short temper in him as well.

Neptune: The cool guy, the calm one, the always going with the flow type of guy... and the one who's barley remembered by the group. The team knows him for his skill in agility and strategy, but most of the members even forget he's there until they absolutely need him.

Pluto: She wasn't even supposed to be in the team to begin with, she actually started out as a stowaway on their ship. She eventually warmed up to the team and became a member. Pluto also loves to hang around Neptune, thinking of him as a big brother.

PHEW what a mouthful! So, what do you think? I SO want to go with this idea as a show or a comic someday. I'll also see if I can get the villains a drawing in sometime. And guess what? I'M GETTING A CINTIQ COMPANION 2!!! I'm so excited! I won't have to give up the computer to my dad anymore, THAT MEANS MORE TIME TO DIGITALLY DRAW!!!! Alright, well, I had to get that out of my system. You guys have a nice day!
