So here are Metru Nui's greatest hero's updated profiles. These were the old profiles I made years ago: Toa Metru!! . And since I've improved from then and no one should favorite that old atrocity, (I HATE MY OLD ART!!!) I decided to update these heroes with their new designs. The only ones I didn't really change much were everyone except Nuju and Vakama. I also tried to give them a more comic style here. Well, I wonder if I should explain their designs... ah, what the heck:

Vakama - See those orange things on the side of his neck? Those are put into every Ta-Matoran so that they can breathe the air clearly in Ta-Metru. I actually based Vakama's skin tone off of his voice actor in the movies, Alessandro. Add red hair, defined cheek bones, a beard and voila. Yah got yerself an angsty Vakama. Based off clothing from the Roman era

Nokama - That necklace around her neck means that she was actually proposed to before she became a Toa. I made an explanation as to how Matoran actually have a partnership with each other, but it's more of a be by your side forever than an actual marriage-marriage. (Such as in Metru Nui, no one ever thinks to have children that much. I'll explain it better sometime). Based off clothing from the Meso-American era.

Matau - He has glasses for his eyes to protect them from an illness he has. When Velika gave the Matoran their "Personalities" he made them susceptible to illnesses. Matau was one of the unfortunate ones to get a disease that affected his eyes, making them see brighter hues that hurt his vision. For the longest time, he had to close them and have someone walk around with him. Later on, they finally made goggles that could let him see. Based clothing off of Feudal Japan era

Nuju - Eh, not much to say here. I did actually base his design off of what gentlemen looked like back in the 1800s. Where they sleeked their hair back and had monocles and such. When I thought back to a design, I though of young Charles Darwin. Idk why, he's kind of the first thing I think of who lived back in that decade. Based clothing off of Victorian era

Whenua - Nothing really changed from him either, I just gave him darker skin. You know who I can compare him to? Idris Elba. He'd play the PERFECT Whenua. I don't care if the guys British, a British Whenua would be cool! Ahem, getting ahead of myself. Based clothing off of Ancient Chinese era

Onewa - He's probably my favorite out of all of them. I based him off of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, which gave Onewa the hair and the chin. His goggles are just used for situations when he uses a drill for his carvings. Plus it helps keep the sun out of his sight. Based clothing off of Nomadic... era?
