Description From Computer Illustration class, 7"x9" in Abode Illustrator CS2/3. An Abstracted Vince and Howard from The Mighty Boosh. Not particularly the kind of work I typically want to do, but I do enjoy the color.

I think it's great, it reminds me a bit of a very stylized playing card, in a very good way, or maybe a booshie tarot card.

I favorited this two years ago on my old account, so I'm glad to have come across it again because I'm still astonished by it :] The concept and composition are so intriguing, as is the way you worked in the polo motif. And the skin... I've never seen anyone vector skin in that way and I adore it :]

I really appreciate you taking the time to comment, and that you've found it again. You've made me blush, seriously. Thanks!

This is officially the best Boosh fan art ever. You know why? This is art not just fan art. Because it goes beyond just a copy of a picture. It's really imaginative, and adds Beatles/Peter Max, Alice in Wonderland, Playing Cards....you know it just goes to a whole new level. Refreshing to behold. Thank you.

I always appreciate anyone who takes the time to leave a long and thoughtful comment. Thank you so much for your kind words. I try to steer clear of fan art and create an image that is actual illustration. So to have one person appreciate that and take the time to say so means a lot. You are right on with the influences, too. You've just made my day.

It's probably wrong of me, but your work is my new desktop on this computer. *guilty* I just can't say enough how great it is. Did you make prints?

Well thank you, I take that as a high compliment. No, I did not make any prints on this piece, but I have made prints on request for others.

Lovely work, especially the shading on their faces/hands. I like that you chose more subdued colours than you typically see on the show too.

This is wicked, I love the whole concept and composition Makes me wish my computer illustration class hadn't been such a waste, vectors looks like such fun.

I've been meaning to comment on this since I saw it on the fourth... I absolutely love it to death! It's stylised in a really gorgeous way, and by God, if it doesn't look exactly like them! The colours look really beautiful too- was it all done digitally or was there at some point a hand-drawn sketch? I can't stop looking at it.

All my work begins on paper, so I drew it all in line. I knew I wasn't going to use a lot of line, so I considered the shaping on things. All the colors were worked out digitally, and it's changed from my sketch.
