Originally, I was going to do InuYasha/Kagome, but InuYasha's bangs are intimidating in ways I cannot accurately describe other than they are specific and I have OCD so if I get their proportions wrong, I'll lose my mind. Thankfully, I was recently rewatching Race to the Edge a short while ago, so I didn't mind drawing Hiccup/Astrid. I chose their outfits from HTTYD2 because I liked it best. Also, I know some things are crooked, but they are Vikings, which means that could easily be part of an "occupational hazard".

I started this on Tuesday after much procrastination (tho mostly school was kicking my butt and I was kinda depressed and couldn't draw period) but now that I finished all my assignments, I just wanted to finish this since this was from December when MelMuff was kindly giving away core memberships. She gave me points, so I offered this. And normally there'd be no bg, but I wanted to go above and beyond for this, so I added a lot of extra stuff including shading and stuff. I think it's partially because I made her wait so long. Thanks for your patience. I had a lot of fun with this. I'm really proud of Astrid's hair and Hiccup's hair is not too bad either.

Also, the credits are altered here because Astrid didn't exist in the books but I think she's inspired by Camicazi. Based on the Wiki , that is accurate. I've read a few of the books but never finished the series.
