Short story
When I started thinking about making plushies for myself in 2015 I developed a pattern for ponys I actually never really used. I made one plushie completely by hand (had no sewing machine) and out of jeans fabric. You can find it in my plushie gallery HERE
This was the v1 pattern which I made available for personal use.

Before the next attempt I optimised it around the legs and the head and then had my "v2" pattern I still use for smaller plushies today

But unitl last week I never gave any thought about using my first pattern with minky.
So one night where I couldn't sleep the idea came to make one and see how actually it would look made with minky.

Of course I had to do a Fluttershy plushie since she's still my favorite character!

I also made a new mane pattern. The other one might still be good for larger plushies, but it had too many individual parts. So I made a new one with about half the parts. And it really looks better
