In the Generals games, I do the same thing, but with either Aurora Alphas, King Raptors or ordinary F-22 Raptors (I like F-22s in real life, okay?!)...
But in the Tiberium series...

I just get about 20-30 tanks and them in. Sometimes I'll use three prism tanks and five mirage tanks. On Tiberian sun I'll use the Mammoth MK2 with three disruptor tanks along with 20 titans.

ME!!! I played RA2 and RA2 Yuri's Revenge
I liked using Korea and owning everyone with the Black Eagles. My usual tactic: Bring in the ground/naval forces first. Then, in the last minute... SEND IN AN AIRSTRIKE OF 25-50 BLACK EAGLES AND STORM IN THE BASES!!!
Then watch as the "You are Victorious" (or something like that) sign pops up...

Expensive, in single campaign I use 20-30 tanks or 3 prism tanks and 5 mirage tanks.

The prism tank-mirage tank strategy works good. I use the prism tanks for buildings and the mirage tanks for infantry and enemy tanks. Mirage tanks work best because of how effective the weapon is and they can get the terror drones fast enough.

I did the same thing once, but then, the superweapons owned me...
So, I decided to use my tactic, it actually works.
The downside: It's very expensive
But who cares? I use that tactic too as the first phase (sort of like, a distraction sort of thing), and, I let in my final swarm of Black Eagles.
Still, the ion cannon is waaaaaaay more effective... too bad RA2 doesn't have it...

the prism/mirage tank strategy works fairly well for me in single campaign and skirmish games, I haven't used it in multiplayer games though.
One other method I've used in single campaign is get 16 harriers have them destroy the con-yard, the war factory and the barracks.

If I have the mammoth mk 2 and disruptor tanks available I'll use them to. I've used bombers and artillery to destroy enemy defenses. Got fairly good at capturing the enemy bases.

Lol, this reminds me of the time a while back when I captured a Soviet MCV, built a cloning vat, and trained an entire swarm of german sheppard attack dogs. And man did the game lag whenever I had all of them move at once.
I play RA2, well I play Yuri's Revenge more often, now that I got it back on my laptop.

Haha I've done this before. It's amazing how fast they get killed when you have a swarm like that attack. But it's even more amazing watching them roll over a base like fireants to a corpse

If i saw this it would be storm time or maby time to build a few walls so thay couldent get in lol, and no tanks could get thro becasue of all the infantrys
