Description
This is Gus, the collie, a commission piece.
I've used Caran d'Ache Supracolor soft pencils on A4 cartridge paper.
Time taken approx 8 hours...well it's only A4

Wow, I applaud your use of coloring pencils on this amazing work of art. Sadly, my coloring pencil techniques aren't as astonishing as yours. Hopefully one day I will match your skill. Great job!

It's awesome. Sooo awesome, and made even better by the fact that I haven't seen a doggie picture from you in a long time and by the fact that my sister got a malamute pup three weeks ago and the little bugger is biting my legs a lot. @_@ So I have a love-hate thing about dogs at the moment. Mainly love.
Aaaanyway:
Ruth, it's gorgeous. And although this is out of your control, Gus is a great name for a border collie. The eyes are huge and wet, and... wow, the lighting on the nose!
