roughly 8 hours spent so far on this one.It's on A2 Bristol board using caran d'ache supracolor soft pencils.

I'm glad you left the pencils in the shot, because it gives a good reference of scale. From the detail in the denim, I would've assumed it was much larger.

thanks...you know, I really fancy doing something like this on a much larger scale but I have enough trouble reaching the top of my paper as it is...maybe I should get my arms lengthened.

as long as you can work vertical instead of horizontal, you can always use a scaffold. But it's also a good idea to have a rod around that you can steady your hand on when working towards the center.

I really like the effect of unfinished works, some part may be mistaken for a photograph and then the clean lines. I'm looking forward to see this finished, you are truly an artist!

I always like the contrast too...I sometimes wish I could just stop halfway through and leave it...but then I want to know how it's going to look completely finished..but thanks to dA I can go back and look at the wips in my scraps
