InformationWooooo, having this one of my shoulders is a fantastic feeling! This is my most overdue commission for my friend HarleyKyn of her first-ever character Christian. I ran into a huge muse block several months ago and paused work on her, then recently found I finally had some ideas to play with again! She was definitely a challenge. The fire on the wings took me forever because of the perspective and having to match flame styles, then the smoke-patterns in her skin wouldn't cooperate, and she kept looking "off" and required constant adjustments. In the end, though, I'm very happy with her. So her inspirations were a wolf & fire and her desired color scheme was ice blue, gold, black, and silver/white. I tried to make her unique and with a good amount of fantasy, so hopefully I met that goal!As usual, you will see this character on my upcoming roleplay forum Alcryst! THIS IS INCREDIBLE. From the color scheme, to those badass fire wings, to the tastefully done paw print and the eyes that are two very different colors! This looks absolutely incredible and I couldn't have asked for a better design for my first ever character! This is legitimately a dream come true - to be able to rebirth her into a body that looks just as fantasy as her abilities! There is no way I would have managed to get something as amazing and as fitting as this if not for you, Ruanly! Thank you so much! The golden and silver "melting" into her skin on her abdomen is so pretty. Its all very well done but i believe her skin has got to be my favourite part of the design. : )

Oh thank you! I feel like the skin was the riskiest part of her design so I am really happy that you like it, makes me a little relieved that it's received well! It's been interesting to see the different interpretations of her skin--it'll be up to HarleyKyn to decide what she actually wants it to be, of course-- but so far there's been that she is slightly transparent with smoke trapped under her skin, another guess was that she has fire under her skin and ice on her skin (or her skin is made of ice), another was that there was a sort of silky oil-like pattern that moved around her body like the way silk body wash looks, uhh.. oh, your thoughts of it melting into the skin sorta... yeah. Lots of ways to view it and I think they're all freakin' cool so it makes me happy hahah

when i first glanced at this, my thought was fish swimming under her skin? lol. the shapes are just so fluid! but UGH this is incredible - amazing job, as always. love the color scheme. love the wings. love all the new details i notice each time i look - the heterochromatic (is that the word?) eyes, the changing skin color at her extremities, the smokey swirly details in her skin... it's all so good?!!
