This absolute vision is Zandora for ShadowMare098 . She's been a dream of a client, showing me patience, kindness, and answering my unrelenting questions! Though I struggled through this piece, I think the end result made the entire journey worth it, and I am downright ecstatic to add this to my gallery. My goal here was to show the duality of this character; both her beauty and, as the title implies, her beastliness. Therefore, she's tucked into the foggy shadows of a craggy cave, yet bathed by the magical moonlight in all its vivid color--and though her ears are pinned at the scene before her, she has yet to turn her head away from it. I've really been working on volume lately, since it's not something that goes hand in hand with my hair style and is something I particularly struggle with, so expect to continue seeing va-va-voom hair (attempts) from me! Hopefully I get the hang of it with more practice!

I'm so glad you like the colors, I once tried to tone it down in my style because the mainstream artists seemed to all be doing desaturated pieces and I wanted to fit in better, but I learned that I simply can't mute the color schemes or my art and my muse won't work right, so all my pieces are vivid as all hell. Every time someone seems to like that, it makes me feel.. I don't know, very good and at peace with my style. So thank you so, so much for that wonderful feeling of contentment and accomplishment

i know exactly what you mean. I tend to try to play with my colors/curves
to better match what is so popular these days but feel like it just isnt me. So i say
F*** it and just be who you want to be, put out art that represents you, not what
others would prefer to see, boring! You got it, man! keep putting art like this out haha
