Description Information

This beauty is Imogen for relibelli in a long-overdue YHH commission! I was extremely excited to work on this piece and I think the result speaks to it. On another note, this may be the fastest hair I've ever painted, as they typically average me 10 hours and this specific batch of hair was more like 5. Dare I jinx myself and say I'm finally, finally learning how to do this nonsense faster after so many years of snailpace? Knock on all the wood in sight. Sadly, I did lose all of my progress halfway through this and had to redo almost everything from the original YHH file and also underwent a 2-week period where my tablet refused to work, so this was a long-haul project, but it is complete now so all is well. Right? Right. Lastly, a huge heart of appreciation to the lovely saftkeks13 for helping me decide to chop off this pon's head and stick a new one on. I doubt I would've done it without her input and I really think it made the biggest difference by doing so.

Wooow, this is just amazing!
I love everything about this pic: The composition, the colour scheme, the super interesting pose... it's epic.
I really like how the cloth looks on perspective, and that pose is just amazing! Super creative, a never-seen-before
Also the blur on the picture and how detailed the character looks gives a very good motion

I'm very familiar with HTML and CSS, faintly familiar with Javascript, completely unfamiliar with any other. Even with only 2 languages under my belt, yeah, that meme speaks to my soul. x.x I think I single-handedly made a tech support guy on the forum host I use hate his job. I decided he probably goes "FUCK, it's Brady again!" every time he sees me post cuz I had to ask him so many questions for like a year and a half straight while learning the ropes. -cough- What are you coding?

Atm I'm working with C++ and DirectX/OpenGL to develop an illumination method for realtime rendering of interactive scenes for virtual reality. Sounds far more exciting than it is And it really takes some getting used to it because I work into an undocumented framework with no support or anything, so it's all about understanding the code that's already there.
Second project is also in C++, it's an App for authors. Uses many libraries that mess the whole thing up. Why did I study this stuff?

But really, it is quite good. The blurred areas vs. the focused areas draws the eye where it should go and the flowers in the sky in addition to the moving horse makes the piece alive.
