Extra stuff about Ryukei post-upload:~Ryukei are colorblind. As an addendum to how they can see mythessence, they only thing they can see in color is mythessence itself.
~All Ryukei are vegetarian by default, because there really isn't any animal to eat in Zeyruki anyway...
So i figure everytime we run into a species who has something to do with the plot; if there isn't a ref for it at that time, there will be.
And so Ryukei, the suspiciously plain race. Makato Naegi would fit in perfectly with them.
