My nephew is a huge Star Wars fan (partly my fault for introducing him to it). This year he wanted to be Darth Maul for Star Wars Weekends @ Disney's Hollywood Studios. It was so hot that day that his face started melting almost immediately. But still, Darth Maul was slightly confused and amused by the kid standing in front of him. This was the first time ever for any of us making a homemade costume completely from scratch. Hope you like.Related content

Looks great, but blend the line on the kids head so you don't see it, then it's perfect other then he can use a real looking saber..

So late replying...but the lines were blended at the beginning of the day, it was scorching hot though so the makeup started melting. :/
As for the saber, hyperactive kid + "real" looking saber is not a good mix. LMAO!! He still had a lot of fun and this saber has been signed by Ray Park so he treasures it above all others that owns.

Thanks for getting back to me after all this time. It's great your able to do those things with your kid, me I live with chronic pain and have a daughter who turned out perfect TG, and I soon wait for a new body to be with her in. Just to see you all playing that day helps people in my situation smile and feel better, so Thank you so very much. If you ever have a bad or slow day, you just think of me and push, because it's a amazing world out there, and your blssed when you can enjoy it with family. Autographed saber the lucky guy.

He absolutely adores it. He's also been Young Bobba Fett...and this year he's going to be Darth Vader. The kid knows how to pick awesome characters.

Yeah, it was trial and error with that costume. But it came out looking pretty amazing.
The kid was a fierce as the character he was playing.

Oh my stars that is too cute! It's a younger and older Maul! XD Actually my brain went 'zomg it's a chibi Maul!'. I love it. Hope you all had fun. I bet he had a blast meeting Darth Maul, I know I would. And his, your nephew's, costume looks great!
