I drew the lineart a while ago but never completed it, and by the time I got around to coloring it I wanted to make some changes, but I got lazy and just decided to color it as it was.
I had a lot of fun doing the background - the scratched up wall and the painted wing. Drawing the "earth" was also fun. The cloth is very boring though.
I haven't seen many dark backgrounds done with Copic markers, so I took a risk and played around with colors and layering effects (because I don't own many dark colors). I'm really sending my copics closer to the graveyard with these backgrounds Orz
...but seriously guys, I need some new inspiration. Lately I've been trying to redo concepts that I failed to execute, but it gets boring.

Like, seriously AMAZING.
You did that with COPICS?!!? I think that's what baffles me most. Copics are notoriously difficult for backgrounds, and here you made such a breathtaking one! I love all the detail and the texture, the shine, the scratches, the color-- everything!
And, of course, everything else about her is beautiful. I have a fondness for her hair and the shading on her face.
