It suppose to be showing how the chinese and the japanese clothings look alike.The left is chinese (also known as hanfu) and the right is japanese (well....you can call it a kimono) ^ ^;

Thank you! I drew this a long time ago and my style changed drastically lol, but if I ever do get the chance this year I will think of coloring it

looks really nice...except, they both look like hanfu
left = Tang style hanfu
right = han style hanfu
but the kimono was probably influenced by the han hanfu anyway^^

Waaaahhh, so detailed. *__* So pretty..... I love it. And the starry background matches the calm expression of the two girls. The two pieces being one is like a giant sign that screams 'hidden message' on it. ^__^;; Like how close the two countries are something, haha. Did you have an interpretation?

Hehe ^ ^;;; Actually, in the beginning i didn't know what to draw until i saw the chinese hanfu and i thought that it looked really pretty but then i saw the japanese kimono and how these two look so much alike (well except the bottom). So I thought that i should draw out these two clothings and see how alike they are...

The character on the right is very near perfect. However, there is something wrong with the girl on the left. I'm not quite sure, I think it's the face.
However, this is absolutely exceptional. Great job!
