Description
"... um. I... like what you've done with your... er."Real rough, I drew fast and did a little clean up.
(some spoiler alert)
Post-Finale. If Ty Lee visits Azula. As for Azula... we didn't know what happened to her after the fight. We didn't even see if she was in prison. It would be ironic if they Banished her from the Fire Nation (after her crazy banishing spree), but perhaps with her firebending it would be too dangerous? I hope she's in prison for now, at any rate.

It's gonna take more than a chain to restraint Azula. She still has her powers post-finale.

It may be sad that Azula is locked away in a psychiatric ward, but it was for her own good I guess.

That is how their conversation would go.

I geniunely pity Ty-Lee in this picture. Your best friend in the world has gone crazy and has ended up being imprisoned for life for war crimes. You sit there with her, knowing that the only time she's gonna leave The Boiling Rock is when they cart her out in a black canvas sack destined for the Royal Mausoleum. She will wear those chains for as long as she's still breathing. She will never see anything other than the inside of this cell ever again. Now, in those circumstances... what do you say?
Something tells me that Azula really doesn't want Ty-Lee there. Of course, that's what really makes Ty-Lee a good person: her friendship endures even in the face of circumstances like these.

Except Azula isn't in the Boiling Rock, but in an mental health institution to get better, so unless she does something crazy like escaping and trying to stage a coup she won't be imprisoned for life.

I really doubt she sees Azula as a friend. I think she's more scared of her than anything.

I don't know, she seems really, genuinely pleased to see Azula when she's introduced in the series. There are a few other instances throughout the show where she appears to genuinely like Azula, but I don't have the time to dredge them all up right now.

haha, she does, kind of, but honestly she looks a shitton more like she's terrified to go with her and really wants to stay in the circus like she originally wanted. Cause really, think about how she REALLY acted when they first talked, she didn't want to go with her, and then Azula pretty much threatened her with death if she didn't. I don't think that's a want to go with Azula, it's more of a want to not get killed by her.

Nope! In the upcoming comic series (which are canon because Bryke have a say) she is shown bending lightning once again.

she got sent to a mental asylum, Azula was as much a victim of ozai's madness as Zuko only she didn't have her mother nor Iroh to moderate her bad behavior.
Zuko got the physical scars, Azula got the mental ones.
Apparently in the new series they are starting Azula will get a shot at redemption

Love the picture.
But if she would be in prison - she would have been chained much more than that. She is a powerful and insane firebender after all..

Very well done. It contains alot of emotion in a simple layout!
I really felt sorry for Azula there at the end, I mean with all the stuff that she's been through. If they'd done a mini series spin-off of what happened after her mother left, I'm sure it'd be full of some angst.
A total fav!

Most Ty Lee/Azula (or Ty Lee and Azula friendship fan arts) usually have them hugging and making up, but I like that this shows how Azula may not be ready to trust Ty Lee again. It can't been a great feeling to have one friend betray you for another friend.

*nods* She'll have to go through a long healing process before she'll be ready for that! And she'll have to get over the issues concerning her mother too.
You're welcome!

Poor Azula, I really felt sorry for her in the end, more so then normally.
She was just a weapon Ozai had made her be.
I have little doubt that a few visits off of Ursa will help her regain a vestage of sanity.
I really wanted to give her a hug in the end, but she was acting like a female dragon with a thorn in her side while on the rag, and I'm not fire proof.
This is a cool picture and you can tell that Azula really has gone off the deep end.

On the official Avatar website, they wrote saying that Zuko sent her to some remote Fire Nation mental institution where she receives around-the-clock care or something like that... pretty forgiving if you ask me, since she, you know, tried to kill him and everything... XD

Zuko never said he would hate her, even after all she did to him and others. I'm sure he still cares about his little sister. And Ty Lee does also.

I dunno, at the Western Air Temple he sounded almost *disappointed* that Azula didn't fall to her death.
And do we ever, ANYWHERE, see Zuko say ONE nice thing to his sister? In the SINGLE flashback we get, there is ZERO sibling love. T___T
And at the end, he still doesn't really strike a compassionate look- even though Katara sort of does.
The one strand of hope I cling to is the scene in "The Beach" where Azula fetches Zuko from the old house- where he trusts her enough to gush about the past.

That makes sense though. At the time, she was pursuing him and his friends for months. They'd just fought, and for a second there, it looked like it was over.
I'm sure he'd have conflicting feelings later, but for a moment there, he had understandable relief.
