Been reading this awesome book series called Wings of Fire lately. I've read a lot of dragon books but WoF is unique because the big roles go to the dragons, humans exist but the world is ruled by dragons. The dragons call humans "scavengers" and they're viewed as little nuisance animals the majority of the time. There are seven dragon tribes as seen here.

SeaWings: Ocean dwelling dragons. They can see in the dark, breathe underwater, and are strong swimmers. They have glow in the dark markings and they use them to communicate with each other while underwater. They have no breath ability.

MudWings: Dragons who live in swamps and have strong sibling bonds due to being poor parents. They just lay their eggs and abandon them. They can breathe fire if the temperature is warm enough, and some MudWings have heat resistant scales.

SandWings: Desert dragons. Their tails end in a poisonous barb like a scorpion's. They can survive for a long time without water and breathe fire.

NightWings: Dragons who sometimes have mystical powers such as predicting the future and/or mind reading. They breathe fire, and can easily blend into the night sky. Their wing membranes often have silver specks that resemble stars.

SkyWings: Dragons with large, powerful wings that allow them to fly great distances without getting tired. They are fierce warriors and have fire breath.

RainWings: Rainforest dragons. They can change the color of their scales like chameleons and spit a deadly venom. They have prehensile tails and often keep pet sloths.

IceWings: Dragons with high cold tolerance and ice breath. They are always white, light blue, or silver colored. Their claws are jagged to grip the ice and their tails end in sharp needle like spines.
