There is no worse fate than being forced to be a lab rat. Last year, the novel Heroine Project was launched to examine the side effects of newly invented drugs. This was because these drugs had been proven ineffective on animals, and further testing on real human subjects was necessary. Homeless people and certain prisoners were brought along against their will. Due to the unethical nature of this practice, the government and scientists had been working together to cover everything up, ensuring that no information regarding the experimentation was leaked. However, recently, a captive who looked like a traumatized young girl managed to escape and tell the media about her horrible experience being confined in none other than torture cells. The news circulated quickly and, though many versions of the original story existed, the action was enough to provoke citizens.

Tara, the name of the captive, used to be an older boy just one month ago. He was starting his university life when a group of masked men sedated and kidnapped him. Apparently, unbeknownst to him, his father was a seasoned criminal, so the police thought of kidnapping him as a bait. Unfortunately, their plan turned out futile. As if to apply more pressure, they tortured Tara and took disrespectful pictures of him to be sent to his father. Yet, no signs of retaliation were detected. Overtaken by rage, they went overboard and used him as a test subject for a new drug called Femicon, hoping he would die in the process.
