I drew line art for both Murdoc and Noodle, in fact I already started to colour Noodle when I didn't like the poses of both anymore :S
So I have nothing really except reference pictures for Murdoc so far, so I guess he's going to be first.Β
Also gives me some time to think about Noodle's hairstyle in case a new picture on instagram appears. xD

I have noticed a big art style change but I wasn't sure exactly what to pin-point about it xD
IT'S ACTUALLY FUNNY THOUGH I remember being like what, 7 or 8 and I saw a few seconds of the Feel Good Inc. video on some CD commercial but little me was somewhat terrified cuz this eyeless anime man thing was twisting his neck and body so for YEARS I was wondering wtf that was and then years later a friend on here drew a picture of Noodle (when Phase 3 got announced) and I didn't know who she was so I googled the band and thought "they look oddly familiar..." and then that mystery was solved lol.

I only remember that I was laughing hard at the toilet scene, and I only remember how Murdoc looked in the end when he told everybody to fuck off.

DUDE YES LOL actually someone on tumblr pointed that out and explained that it was to symbolize how he wants to break free from society by singing about the windmill and how De La Sol and their rapping was manipulating him like a puppet to "conform" I guess so that really explains a lot xD I love Feel Good Inc. and the symbolism fnwfnoajwnfojAJOF (some Brave New World shiz)

there are some things to the story that are kind of lost in translation in a sense because in the El Manana vid the Black Clouds were shooting it down but on the wiki it says some character named Jimmy Manson is the one who sent the helicopters after her but... He literally doesn't fit in with the story at all? It's freaking weird. (wiki link:Β gorillaz.wikia.com/wiki/Murdoc , scroll down to where it talks about El Manana).
And going back to the Evangelist, it says she represents Murdoc's good side but... That's it. I WANT MORE, DAMMIT!Β
kind of weird but I have this headcanon-type thing where during the Broken video they came across her or something and she agreed to help her return to the band but she wanted to here Noodle play a beautiful melody first and that's why not a lot of movement happens and why else would they just be standing out in the middle of the sea. Ok now that I think about it I really want to draw this faofnaownf.Β

Yeah it was also something the members explained in this video. I just love how people sometimes thing its all trolling and not a serious band while they often have some deep shit. Like plastic beach being all over the polution. Almost doomsday idea.
Yeah they explained that jimmy thing in Rise Of The Orge. I dont really think that killing the bounty hunter and get noodle out of the spotlight at once doesnt mess up the story per se... its more the fact that they dont really talk about. And they couldve dropped the jimmy idea without having holes in the plot cus nothinf about jimmy is revealed in videos or interviews. It felt more like the jimmy story was an extra thing to talk about in the book and they could somehow put it in the el manana incident.. but since that story isnt really talked about it doesnt seem to be very important to the story. Though i thought the story was funny though xD how Murdoc was like i knoooow the door is closed... that was my plan! He just totally lied to the guy to start a band and kill the rest and just sneak out of it with a brilliant plan.
