I think it looks good enough for DeviantArt. Here you go. So I came up with this while working on another project, so I thought I’d take a break from that to draw this one out. I know their pre-scratch and post-scratch selves have no memory of the other universe, but that won’t stop me. This has probably been done before anyway. Fun fact! Did you know Dirk’s bed has a pool ball motif? ………Well I found it interesting…Oh and Lil Cal is incredibly creepy I’m never drawing him again sorry.

Trust me. I run a blog dedicated solely to Homestuck fan art. As such, I browse hundreds of Homestuck fan art pieces DAILY. I have a perpetually full quueue and a drafts folder of over a thousand pieces that'll probably never get posted because of the overnumerous influx of awesome fan art I subject myself to. And THIS strikes me as among the best, as far as concept and execution goes. It's elegant and emotionally significant, yet lighthearted. It's a logical connection few would consciously make. The imagery and layout is done well and warrants mention. I could go on.
