I drew this birdly maiden for the Rising Artists Prompt Challenge #27 themed 'Toucan Colors'. I was so excited when I read the prompt, I almost instantly could see the lower half of the face in beak-ish colors in my minds eye! Its a great feeling when the inspiration hits ya like that!Colored pencils and fine tipped ink pen on 9"x12" paper.

wow, this is amazing. first I thought it's a photomanipulation, because the eyes look so real!
Only one little thing: I miss the shadows on the body, especially on the shoulders.
