This piece was created for the Rising Artist Prompt Challenge: New Year's resolutions. I was pondering what changes I want to see happen in my life over the next twelve months, and realized that for each major change I wanted, my personal insecurities were the major reason I haven't pushed ahead. I've been letting myself stop me from getting what I want. So, this piece is about opening up in the new year and not just releasing my insecurities, but putting myself out there, snakes and all.
